La Cascade Art Retreat in Durfort is named for the lovely waterfall that is behind the house.  The river Sor runs right behind the retreat house and we can sit on the shore and dangle our feet in the cool water (it’s great for that 3 PM lull!)

During the workshop week we eat as often as we can on the back terrace and have the sound of the river and waterfall as accompaniment to our delish meals.
